Starting today, all 3 campaigns of The Dark Army: Uprising Remastered, (Day, Night and Dark campaigns; 21 missions total), are playable cooperatively, from 1 to 8 players, in The Dark Army: Uprising Cooperative, for RTCWCOOP.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein mapper and modder, Ronboy (aka Mike Smith), has recently announced that due to commitments in every-day life, he has had to, unfortunately, call it a day in regards to creating any more maps and mods for Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
As far as we here at Wolffiles and Splatterladder are concerned, Mike is and always will be, one of the best promoters of and contributers to Return to Castle Wolfenstein mapping and modding. We wish him the very best for the future, he'll always have our admiration and thanks for all his hard work and dedication to our Wolfenstein Community over many years.

This is a sad decision that I didn't want to reach, but real life is very important to me. However, I'm not trashing all the hard work that I've done thus far. I'll post download links to my mapping content, i.e. custom sounds, models, music, textures and of course, the source .map files for everything that I've collected.
This means that if someone wants to finish Castle Wewelsberg or my unfinished Christmas-themed map, Jerry Christmas, then they can complete these mapping projects. I won't make the mistake of keeping my mapping content hidden away to be lost forever, like some other mappers have done with their abandoned projects.

Yes, Wolfenstein Community, you read that headline correctly, RealRtCW mod is coming to Steam! Wolfetplayer has been working on this project for a long time, but finally RealRtCW has its own Steam Store page.
What does it mean for the future of the mod?
Steam is an amazing platform for both users and developers. Steam can provide constant and more frequent updates and it will be much more convenient for you to download them! However, don't worry, Wolfetplayer is planning to maintain both Steam and ModDB versions of the mod.
Steam Workshop and Steam Cloud
Wolfetplayer is planning to take a full advantage of the Steam Workshop feature. All custom maps addons are going to be uploaded there for easy download and access. Steam cloud is also supported. Now your saves and configs are going to be in sync with cloud drive.
The Steam version of RealRtCW is going to be released this year. We can't tell you the exact week or month, but it's coming when it's ready. RealRtCW still requires more polishing and bugfixing to proper represent our RtCW modding community in Steam.

Vicpas has released a new version of his amazing Return to Castle Wolfenstein singleplayer adventure, entitled, RtCW Age of Horror. There's 18 maps to play, plus a special bonus map too, with each level being an excellent challenge for all players, new or old.
What makes this new version even better? It's due to it now being compatible with the superb RealRtCW, created by Wolfetplayer.

The Allied Intelligence Agency has received reports that German scientists are developing a new air apparatus known as the Helicopter. These combat prototypes can destroy armored vehicles and infantry.
As an Allied agent, you must infiltrate the German facility and eliminate all high-ranking personnel associated with this project and obtain all relevant information and documentation of the project before these deadly prototypes are deployed in the battlefield.

This is a small RtCW combat map converted by Vicpas for use in RealRtCW. The map features many enemies to fight and three objectives to complete. However, the mission will fail if Captain Hiperon is killed, so make sure that he stays alive as you complete your map objectives.

This is an excellent 'Return to Castle Wolfenstein' singleplayer adventure, created by sd2009, which features a completely new environment and atmosphere. The mission contains four maps, where you must hunt down Feldmarschall Erwin Rommel and his French Vichy generals. You then head to Munich to assassinate General Heinz Guderian.
It was 17 years ago that 'Splash Damage' released their first ever game, 'Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory'. This classic World War II 'FPS' shooter went on to become a huge success and has continued to be played right up to this very day.

William Faure has released a video update for his 'Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory - Singleplayer' project. Here's what William had to say:
"Work is still ongoing, and the project is progressing as expected - so, don't you worry, keeping you in the dark really was intended, especially since I don't want to show too much before you get your hands on the full thing. Please note that this video showcases footage of the current development stage (Pre-Alpha). It's still a work-in-progress, as stated in the beginning.
I'd also like to highlight the fact that the level featured here, Gold Rush, is what I call a "hybrid" mission, since the first half is total-stealth, and the other half is total-action. This gameplay premiere shows glimpses of the first half, the stealth part. The other half, the action part, features elements such as a tank and a few allied characters, which do not appear in the first part showcased here.
